The ground rules, in plain English.
These terms apply when you use keyproof.ca or join our waitlist. They’re short because the site is simple: it describes Keyproof and takes waitlist signups. When the full platform launches, it will have its own terms of service.
Agreeing to these terms
By using keyproof.ca (“the site”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the site. Keyproof (“we”, “us”) may be reached at hello@keyproof.ca.
What this site is
Keyproof is an all-in-one rental platform for the Greater Toronto Area, launching Fall 2026. This site is informational and pre-launch: it describes what we’re building and lets you join the waitlist. Features, timelines, and pricing described here are plans, not promises — details may change before launch.
The waitlist
- Joining the waitlist reserves your place in line for early access. It doesn’t create an account, cost anything, or guarantee access on a specific date.
- Waitlist positions are informational and may shift as we remove duplicate or invalid entries.
- Please sign up with accurate information and only for yourself. We may remove entries that are fraudulent, automated, or abusive.
- You can leave the waitlist at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link in any of our emails.
Acceptable use
Use the site like a good neighbour. Don’t:
- Probe, disrupt, or overload the site or its forms.
- Scrape or harvest data, or submit automated signups.
- Misrepresent who you are or impersonate someone else.
- Use the site for anything unlawful.
Intellectual property
The Keyproof name, logo, and everything on this site — text, design, graphics — belong to us. You’re welcome to link to the site and share it, but please don’t copy, modify, or reuse our content or branding without written permission.
Third-party links
The site links to third-party services such as Calendly for booking calls. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we’re not responsible for how they operate.
No warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Content on this site is general information about our product — it isn’t legal, financial, or real-estate advice, and you shouldn’t rely on it as such.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Keyproof will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this site or your place on the waitlist. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time — for example, when the platform launches. Updates will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date, and continued use of the site means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Ontario.
